Stairs from Base to deck 1

Here is the stairs to deck #1. There are 19 steps. I designed this stairs on ACAD. I laid out the pattern on 2X12 X20 pieces of PT lumber and cut the steps. Everything fit like a glove.

Egg House

Last weekend I installed a picket fence in from of the little egg house. Kathy started painting it but it's not finished. The house was just repainted.

Now the deck is finished. I had request form my mastermind group that I be hold accountable to have this deck built on or before 7/17/07. The group drives each other to clarify what each one desires. Then they stand by while each of us complete what we said we wanted. I'm very grateful that I have the three other individuals in my mastermind group to push me forward without a word.

Next I need to build the stair case from base camp to lower deck #1.

Now the deck is half decked in. The is the first of three more decks. I estimate it will take two to three more decks each one twenty feet lower than the order to reach the bottom.

Now you see the 2X6 floor joist go in to support the 2x6 decking. I've started the 1st deck board in the west side of the deck.

I have started the foundation of the second deck on my way down to the bottom of the property. This deck is approximately 20" below the base camp deck. I cleared the side of the steep hill and set four 4X4 for the support and 2x8 PT around the parameter for strength. I used cross bracing to unsure stability.

This is the base camp for the beach property. Is is approximately seventy feet to the flat land below on the beach. There is no other legal access to the property except a switchback stairs down. I pickup a lot of oak wood from a job site. I intend to upgrade this base camp deck at a later date. The main goal is the get down to the bottom and build a beach house.
